This tool is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial or investment advice, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Prices are the ones you entered. This tool has no market data feed, which is also why nothing you type ever leaves your browser.

Concentration is worth watching: when one position dominates the allocation column, the portfolio return is really that position’s return.

Most crypto portfolio tools want an account and read-only API keys. That arrangement has produced enough incidents that the trade is worth questioning, particularly for a calculation that is arithmetic on numbers you already know.

Everything here is entered manually and computed in your browser. There is no price feed, no exchange connection, no account and no storage - which means the valuation is a snapshot rather than a live figure, and in exchange nothing about your holdings is ever transmitted.

Why use CryptoPortfolioTools

No keys, no account, no upload

Holdings are typed in and calculated in the page. Nothing is transmitted, stored or associated with you.

Concentration made visible

A portfolio built as four equal positions does not stay that way. After a strong run, one holding is often most of the value and the rest is decoration.

The real average cost

A fixed amount buys more units when the price is low, so the average cost lands below the simple average of the prices. The gap widens with volatility.

Yields with the caveats attached

Compounding and platform fees change a quoted rate substantially. What no yield figure captures is that rewards are paid in the same asset.

How it works

  1. Enter holdings with quantity, average cost and the current price you can see.
  2. Check the largest position as a share of the total before anything else.
  3. Use the DCA tool to find the real average cost of a position built over time.
  4. Convert any quoted staking rate into an effective yield before comparing platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Do these tools connect to an exchange?

No. There is no API connection, no read-only key and no account. Everything is entered manually, which is exactly what allows nothing to be transmitted.

Are prices live?

No. This site has no market data feed. Every price is one you enter, so the valuation is a snapshot at the moment you type it.

Does dollar-cost averaging guarantee a better result?

No. It spreads timing risk and produces an average cost below the simple average of the prices paid. It does not protect against an asset that keeps falling.

Why do you warn so heavily about staking yields?

Because rewards are paid in the same asset, so a high yield on a token that halves is still a loss - and because lock-ups, slashing, contract failure and platform insolvency are real and are never in the yield figure.

Is any of this investment advice?

No. These are calculators, for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here recommends an asset, a platform or an allocation.
